Continue to Misol – Há, a 35 meters high (11.5ft) waterfall where you can walk behind the curtain of water for a truly immersive experience. Transfer to Palenque for hotel check–in. Evening at leisure to enjoy the local cuisine and relax after your day of exploration.
Today, venture deep into the Lacandon Rainforest to discover two extraordinary Maya archaeological sites.
Reach Yaxchilán by boat along the Usumacinta River, just as ancient rulers once did. Surrounded by dense jungle, this remote city feels like a true expedition into the past.
Continue to Bonampak, renowned for its remarkably preserved Maya murals and intricately carved stelae – masterpieces that vividly tell stories of royal ceremonies and ancient life.
Return to Palenque for overnight stay.
