From August 27 to September 7, 2025, Jalisco will be filled with music, tradition, and national pride as it hosts the 32nd edition of the International Mariachi and Charrería Festival—an annual event that celebrates two of Mexico’s most beloved cultural symbols: mariachi music and charrería.

This festival brings together the best mariachi bands from Mexico and around the world, as well as skilled charro groups who proudly showcase the artistry and sport of charrería. Over the course of 12 days, attendees can enjoy concerts, galas, equestrian exhibitions, mariachi masses, and performances in some of Jalisco’s most iconic locations.

What to expect at the 2025 edition:

- Mariachi Galas at Teatro Degollado
One of the festival’s most anticipated events, where the world’s top mariachis perform alongside the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra in a dreamlike setting.

- Charrería Championships
Displays of this national sport held in charro arenas throughout the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area and other regions of the state.

- Traditional Fairs and Popular Festivities
Enjoy traditional Mexican food, snacks, live music, and a festive family-friendly atmosphere.

- Concerts in Magical Towns and Puerto Vallarta
