Día nacional de las abejas

The National Day of the Bees is an event organized by the Tulum local government, through the Economic Development and Planning departments. The event takes place on August 7 starting at 10 at the Casa de la Cultura in Cobá. The event celebrates the importance of bees and local culture, offering a variety of activities including a honey recipe contest, exhibition and sale of food and handicrafts, presentations on beehives and beekeeping equipment, with local visits to Mayan villages, cultural dance performances, and a drawing contest for kids.
