Corn season is in the air… and that can only mean one thing: the Tesistán Corn Festival is back! From August 13 to 17, visit this traditional corner of Zapopan, where corn takes center stage in some of the most creative, delicious, and proudly local recipes.
Get ready to taste everything from classic corn ice cream to breads, cakes, flans, tamales, atoles, and other treats that pay tribute to this essential ingredient of Mexican cuisine. Every bite is a celebration of our roots — and a cure for your cravings.

How to get to Tesistán from Guadalajara
If you're driving from downtown Guadalajara, take Av. Laureles (which becomes Av. Juan Gil Preciado) and follow it straight until you reach Tesistán via Jalisco Street. The drive takes about 55 minutes.
Travel tip: Bring cash, wear comfortable clothes, and pack an umbrella — there’s a good chance of rain this time of year. Some vendors don’t accept cards.
