Los Portales

The famous portalescannot be missing in a city as old as El Fuerte. They are located on the western side of the plaza de armas, attached to two 18th-century buildings. The portalesare supported by columns of prismatically carved stone, but the columns closest to the Templo del Sagrado Corazón are cylindrical.
