Palacio Municipal

​Its construction began in 1903, under Rafael J. Almada, the Prefecto Político del Distrito de El Fuerte. The design was the responsibility of Ing. Francisco Salido and the work was under the direction of Maestro Manuel Castañeda. The work was completed in 1907. A two-story building constructed almost entirely of brick, with only the rear wall made of cantera, featuring a central patio surrounded by portales with arcades that correspond to those on the upper floor.
