From September 12 to 15, 2025, the state of Querétaro opens its arms to the world to celebrate one of its most significant festivities: the Feast of the Holy Cross, in the emblematic neighborhood of La Cruz.
This celebration, alive since the 16th century, transforms the colonial streets of Querétaro into a stage of dance, music and devotion. Thousands of concheros -guardians of a centuries-old tradition- descend from the Cerro del Sangremal with colorful costumes, plumes and conch shells to pay homage to the Santa Cruz de los Milagros (Holy Cross of Miracles). Each step is an act of memory, a hymn to the mestizaje that shapes Mexican identity.
