Río Fuerte
It is the source of life and development for the entire north of Sinaloa. It originates in Chihuahua and travels over six hundred kilometers, feeding three dams that control its waters to irrigate thousands of hectares, creating the richest agricultural area in the Sinaloan countryside. In the municipality, there are two dams that are very important attractions: the Miguel Hidalgo and the Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez.
