Presa Luis Donaldo Colosio
Popularly known as Presa Huites, it represents a place of recreation and leisure for the people of Sinaloa, surrounded by hills and green meadows, in addition to being an important tourist attraction for nationals and foreigners who enjoy sport fishing for black bass, a highly coveted specimen in this activity. At the access to the dam, you find the intriguing Cueva Huites, which offers a window into the customs of past humans. Its rocky walls are decorated with paintings simulating the cave art of the Caves of Altamira (Spain), a perfect recreation. The Cave of the Light Hunters, as it is also known, was painted by the Mexican artist Federico Silva.
