Presa Adolfo López Mateos

​Also known as el Varejonal, this dam on the waters of the Río Badiraguato and Río Humaya, in a territory between the municipalities of Badiraguato and Culiacán. Its waters abound with species of tilapia, bass, and catfish. The surroundings of the dam, full of vegetation, are an attraction for nature lovers and sport hunting enthusiasts, as species such as deer, wild turkey, dove, and quail are abundant.
