The largest cultural festival in Latin America, the 2025 edition spans two full weeks in October and includes nearly 50 performances ever year.
Past editions have included 3,200 artists from 24 countries. Over the years the festival has included some 133 different performances, 35 visual arts exhibitions, 49 academic sessions, a virtual theater show, sports activities, a concert show, six film cycles and an overflow cultural offer that doesn\\\\\\\'t stop for 17 days.
The city of Guanajuato, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, proud of its mining past, and recognized as one of the most beautiful capitals of Mexico. Passers-by walk between alleys to go from one stage to the next. Some forums are in indoor spaces like the Juarez Theater but performers take advantage of the Esplanade of the Alhondiga de Granadita, and public plazas like Los Pastitos, Plaza Mexiamora, Jardín El Cantador, and the Plaza San Roque.
