Ruinas de la Iglesia

Las Ruinas de la Iglesia el Rosario, or "La Ruina", refer to the vestiges of the old Parroquia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, located in the municipality of El Rosario, Sinaloa. After being severely affected by torrential rains in 2019, the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH) is working on its conservation. This emblematic place is a point of tourist interest for visitors to the Pueblo Mágico of El Rosario and is valued for its historical and architectural beauty, despite its ruined state.

The ruins of the ancient Parroquia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario in El Rosario, Sinaloa, are a historical vestige dating back to the 18th century. Built in 1731 and consecrated in 1759, the church was erected by the Marqués de Pánuco, Don Francisco Javier de Vizcarra.
