Museo de Lola Beltrán
Located in the city of El Rosario, this museum honors the life and career of Lola Beltrán, “La Reina de la Canción Ranchera”. Inside, photographs, original costumes, records, awards, and personal objects that narrate her artistic career and the pride she represents for the people of Sinaloa are displayed.
The museum is not only a cultural space but also a symbol of the musical legacy that transcended borders.
It is one of the mystical places of the city, with a solemn and dramatic air that enhances its charm. It features a distinguished facade of Spanish Neoclassical style, which gives reason to the name Panteón Español built by Ignacio Fletes, a prelude to the astonishing tombs inside, most of them from the late 18th century to the mid-20th century. Stone monuments, coats of arms, sculptures of mourning angels, and other expressions of funerary art make up the place.
