Every October, the municipal seat of El Rosario, Sinaloa, celebrates the Anniversary of Our Lady of the Rosary, a religious festivity honoring the town’s patron saint. The celebration includes Masses, processions, traditional music, dances, and cultural activities, with participation from both local faithful and visitors—strengthening the community’s identity and faith.

October 7 marks the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, a title of the Virgin Mary venerated by the Catholic Church. The date commemorates Mary's intercession in the victory of the Battle of Lepanto in 1571, when the Christian fleet defeated the Ottoman navy. The celebration invites the faithful to pray the Holy Rosary as a way of meditating on the life of Christ and seeking the Virgin’s intercession.
