The Museo Regional MURCO, located in the heart of Concordia, Sinaloa, is a space dedicated to preserving and displaying the historical and cultural richness of the region. It exhibits the archaeological, anthropological, and historical heritage of Concordia. This building previously operated as a municipal jail.

The museum was inaugurated on January 17, 2015, and its headquarters are located in a building constructed in 1888 by Colonel Ricardo Carricarte. It originally functioned as a municipal jail until the year 2010, when it was rehabilitated to house the museum.
It still preserves original elements from its former penitentiary function, such as bars and a central courtyard, providing a very particular aura full of history.
