Gran Desfile de Día de Muertos

Next Saturday, November 1st, starting at 2:00 p.m., the most iconic streets of Mexico’s capital will fill with life, color, and remembrance during the Great Day of the Dead Parade 2025 — a one-of-a-kind celebration that invites the entire world to honor those who are no longer with us… with joy.

Beginning at Puerta de los Leones in Chapultepec, the parade will travel along Paseo de la Reforma, Avenida Juárez, 5 de Mayo, and conclude at the Zócalo. It will offer a spectacular four-hour show featuring monumental catrinas, themed floats, art in motion, traditional music, and dance — a vibrant expression of the Mexican spirit.

This parade is not only a tribute to our ancestors but also a powerful display of Mexico’s intangible cultural heritage, recognized worldwide for its symbolic depth and its ability to unite generations.

We invite people from all over the world to join us — to walk among cempasúchil flowers, feel the rhythm of the drums, and be embraced by a people who know how to celebrate life through remembrance.

Mexico City awaits you to share one of its most beloved traditions and to offer the world a message of hope, art, and humanity.

See you on November 1st on Reforma.
