18th International Jazz and Something More Festival
Every November, Mazunte pulsates to the rhythm of saxophone, drums, and trumpet with the International Jazz and More Festival, one of the region's most anticipated cultural events. For three days, the town is filled with music, art, and positive energy, featuring open-air concerts by the sea, workshops, exhibitions, dance performances, and eco-friendly activities. The main stage is set up in the town square or near the beach, creating a magical atmosphere where jazz blends with the sound of the waves. National and international artists gather to share their talent at an event that celebrates creativity and respect for nature. In addition to the music, the festival promotes local businesses: there are stalls selling traditional Oaxacan food, artisanal beverages, organic products, and handicrafts made by the community.
