Camino al Mictlán 2026

On November 21, 2026, Ultra Costa Trail presents “Camino al Mictlán,” a trail running event held in Manzanillo, with both start and finish at Playa Las Palmitas. Featuring 13K and 23K distances, the event is designed for runners of different levels seeking an accessible yet meaningful challenge in a natural setting that blends coastline and mountain terrain.

Throughout the course, participants will face elevation gains that test endurance while enjoying landscapes characteristic of the region. The race begins early in the morning, creating ideal conditions to run and connect with nature. The organization also provides hydration stations, medical support, and chip timing, along with a kit that includes a commemorative shirt and finisher’s medal.
