Feria del Mezcal 2026

As part of the most important festival for the people of Oaxaca, the Guelaguetza 2026, the Oaxaca Cultural and Convention Center will open its doors to host a new edition of the Mezcal Fair, one of the most significant events dedicated to this iconic beverage that represents the identity, hard work, and traditions of the state’s communities.

During this grand celebration, 110 master mezcal makers will share the richness and diversity of the spirits produced in Oaxaca’s various regions, while 208 artisans will showcase their talent through unique pieces that reflect the cultural legacy of their communities. In addition, visitors will be able to enjoy more than 20 culinary tastings, where the flavors of traditional Oaxacan cuisine will perfectly complement the experience.

The 2026 Mezcal Fair will also offer a wide-ranging lineup of concerts, artistic performances, and cultural activities that will transform this space into a gathering place to celebrate the traditions, creativity, and hospitality that set Oaxaca apart.

More than just a drink, mezcal is the result of ancestral knowledge passed down from generation to generation, respect for the land, and the efforts of those who keep alive one of the most representative expressions of Oaxaca’s cultural heritage.
