Guelaguetza
La Guelaguetza is the ultimate cultural, ethnic, and folkloric festival of the state of Oaxaca and one of the most celebrated cultural traditions in Latin America. Derived from the Zapotec word guendalezaa, meaning "gift" or "offering," this annual festival brings together delegations from Oaxaca’s eight regions atop the Fortin Hill to celebrate their rich heritage, traditional music, dances, and indigenous diversity.
