If you’re looking to play golf surrounded by ocean, palm trees, and visual challenges, Las Hadas Golf Club offers unique holes, shimmering water features, an iconic island green, and breathtaking views that turn every round into an unforgettable experience.
Located on the Santiago Peninsula in Manzanillo, Colima, Las Hadas Golf Club invites you to an unparalleled golf experience. With 18 holes (Par 71), designed by the renowned architects Pete & Roy Dye, and more than 4,000 palm trees accentuating its scenery, this course blends tropical beauty, technical challenges, and inspiring views.
History and distinctive character
The course was inaugurated in stages, with the first 9 holes opening in 1975, and has since become a benchmark for tropical golf. It was designed to offer variety, featuring numerous water hazards (about 14 of 18 holes), sand traps, and fairways that cross or border water bodies—demanding strategy, precision, and adaptation to the wind. One of its most iconic highlights is the “Million Dollar Hole”, a 160-yard par 3 with an island green, surrounded by water and offering one of the most spectacular views: the Las Hadas by Brisas hotel in the background, right on the seafront.
