Francisco Villa Museum
This venue features 16 permanent exhibition rooms and 3 temporary exhibition rooms.
Located in the former Palacio Zambrano, in Durango, this museum pays tribute to Francisco Villa, one of the most iconic leaders of the Mexican Revolution. Through interactive exhibits, documents, photographs, and personal belongings, visitors can explore the life of the “Centaur of the North” and his impact on Mexican history. The building itself, of neoclassical style, is an architectural gem.
The Francisco Villa Museum aims to reinterpret the figure of Villa and his historical context through both written and unwritten memories, while also highlighting art, literature, science, and philosophy—creating a new experiential and experimental space.
It is definitely worth visiting this place, full of art and history.
