Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Tonatico

This neoclassical jewel stands proudly in the Main Square as one of the most beautiful buildings in the Estado de México, dating back to the 17th century.

Inside, it boasts altarpieces covered in gold leaf, and its altar venerates the Virgin Mary, who has granted so many miracles to those who come seeking her intercession.

Devotees of the Virgin can view her up close thanks to a staircase that rises more than 10 meters high.

A chapel filled with votive offerings dating from 1600 to the present day testifies to the deep faith professed in her. Those who enter to witness these miracles will find approximately a thousand altarpieces in which the Virgin has intervened.
