Fan Routes 2026: Sonora, Ures
One of Sonora's most magical little towns, this one promises everything and it's just over an hour from the capital, and a lifetime away.

We'll set off from Hermosillo for the fantastic little town of Ures. Our first stop is the jamoncillos factory and museum where the local sweet has been lovingly made for generations. A visit to the Plaza Zaragoza and the San Miguel church get you started and the Regional Museum and Casa de Cultura will fill you in on local culture, history, and just about everything else you want to know. If that's not enough, the local tourist train can zip you around the few streets of the little town so you're wanting for nothing.
The trip is fully insured, and starts out with a breakfast burrito for everyone coming along. There's also a Bacanora tasting, but as one of Sonora's best loved little magic towns, there's a lot to take in. Round-trip transportation gets you there and back, but all along the way, you'll be glad you came!
