The Tampaón River, which in the Tének language means "Place where the hill breaks," is one of the most powerful rivers in the Huasteca Potosina and one of the most scenic rivers in the world. It is a Class III river (moderate risk), where you can enjoy paddling and taking on some exciting rapids. Adrenaline and teamwork play a key role in this activity.
No prior experience is required, but certified and trained guides are necessary.
