Day 1: Class III Rafting

The Tampaón is one of the most powerful rivers in the Huasteca region of San Luis Potosí. It's also one of the most scenic rivers anywhere in the world. A trip down will show you why. It's considered a Class III river, meaning there is a moderate risk to most rafters. You can enjoy paddling and taking on some exciting rapids, but for the full experience, a certified and trained guide is necessary. 

Rafters don't need prior experience, but some adrenaline and teamwork make for a much better experience.
