Since 1986, this spot has been a favorite among locals and visitors alike, who consider it a must-stop during their escape to this Magical Town. Centro para la Cultura y las Artes de la Ribera (Lakeside Center for Culture and the Arts)

Admire the beautiful architecture of the Centro para la Cultura y las Artes de la Ribera, a perfect spot to snap some unique photos. Explore its different rooms, exhibition areas, dance and music halls, reading lounge, open-air spaces, and gardens. One of the most charming aspects of Ajijic is its colorful streets, where you'll find murals that reflect the spirit of the town, brought to life by local artists. One of the most notable is the Wall of the Dead, made up of red clay skulls that honor the memory of various individuals. It’s located on Marcos Castellanos Street, near the corner with Parroquia Street. Across from it is the San Andrés Apóstol Parish, and just a few steps away is the Main Plaza.
