Mexico City - Acapulco (8 Days / 7 Nights)

Day 1: Arrival in Mexico City - Dinner at Miralto

Arrival in Mexico City, welcome at Mexico City International Airport "Benito Juárez" and transfer to the hotel.

Transfer to the Miralto restaurant, located in one of Mexico City's most iconic landmarks: the Torre Latinoamericana, in the heart of the Historic Center, for a delicious dinner. This restaurant stands out not only for its cuisine but also for its breathtaking 360° panoramic views from over 180 meters high, as it is located on the 41st floor of the building.

After dinner, return to the hotel.

Day 2: City tour - Chapultepec Castle

Breakfast.

We will begin our tour of the Historic Center of the "City of Palaces," as this city was once known for its beautiful colonial buildings. We will visit: the Plaza de la Constitución (Zócalo), the National Palace (panoramic view), the magnificent Metropolitan Cathedral, a panoramic view of the ruins of the Aztec Templo Mayor (from the pre-Hispanic era), and we will stroll along the main avenues and past monuments such as the Monument to the Revolution and the Angel of Independence.

We will continue our tour through Chapultepec Forest (approximately a 2-hour walk), visiting the Ahuehuetes trees planted by the poet-king Nezahualcóyotl, the monument to Squadron 201 of World War II, the Baths of the Aztec Tlatoanis, the monument to the Niños Héroes (Boy Heroes), and finally, Chapultepec Castle.

Return to the hotel.

Day 3: Cuernavaca - Taxco - Acapulco

Breakfast at the indicated time.

We will depart for Cuernavaca, the "City of Eternal Spring." There, we will visit the Historic Center with its beautiful Cathedral, the oldest in Mexico.

We will continue to the Magical Town of Taxco, a small colonial city located at the foot of the Sierra Madre del Sur mountain range. Its unique architectural style is characterized by cobblestone streets, white stucco houses, and red tile roofs. The wrought-iron balconies at the windows are typically overflowing with beautiful hanging flowers.

Taxco is also known as the silver-producing capital of Mexico, so you will find a wide variety of silver items to purchase. We will visit the Santa Prisca Cathedral and enjoy the atmosphere of a typical Mexican town.

Continue to Acapulco, drop-off at the hotel.

Day 4: Acapulco - Day off

Day 5: Acapulco - Coyuca - Mexico City

At the scheduled time, departure from the hotel to travel to Coyuca for a boat tour on the Coyuca River and Lagoon, where we can admire herons, pelicans, cormorants, and roseate spoonbills in their natural habitat. It is an excellent place for birdwatching. Later, we will enjoy a delicious lunch featuring a typical regional dish.

Afterward, we will continue to Mexico City and check into our hotel.

Day 6: Mexico City - Football match

Experience an international football match at Estadio CDMX, one of the most iconic venues in football. Located in Mexico City, this stadium is not only one of the most renowned worldwide, but also the only one in history to have hosted two World Cup finals (1970 and 1986), making it an icon of international football (ticket not included).


Day 7: Shopping tour + taco tour / Mexico City - Hometown

Breakfast.

Enjoy a morning exploring one of Mexico City's largest shopping malls, Buenavista, where you can discover stores of well-known brands and a wide variety of shops selling everything from clothing and shoes to books, cell phones, and food. Find a shopper's paradise and shop for great deals in Mexico City until you're tired or it's time to return to your hotel.

In the evening, we'll head out for a traditional Mexican dinner. We'll sample delicious tacos, guided by our expert on Mexican street food through the streets of Mexico City to three authentic taquerias. There, we'll taste seven different tacos, including arrachera, suadero, and campechano, among others. To finish, we'll try what's considered the best taco of all: the taco al pastor. A truly flavorful tour!

Return to the hotel.

Free time in the morning. At the designated time, transfer to Mexico City International Airport "Benito Juárez" for your flight back to your city of origin.
