Ángeles Verdes is run by the General Directorate of Tourist Services, and thus it's part of the Ministry of Tourism of the Mexican Federal Government. In service since 1960, the Green Angels provides free, specialized assistance to those traveling by road everywhere in the country.
Angeles Verdes focuses on offering information for travelers, guidance, roadside assistance, and emergency mechanical support. They also collaborate in extraordinary situations when the general population requires it. The Angeles Verdes are present in all 32 states and they operate 365 days a year, with a trained team and equipped vehicles that travel the country's main corridors for holiday and leisure travlers.
The free service can be requested directly on the road, through the telephone line at 078, or through the Angeles Verdes app.
The main objectives of the Ángeles Verdes are to provide comprehensive care to tourists during their travels on the roads, with a focus on friendly, quality of service. AV handles minor mechanical emergencies, provides accurate information about destinations and attractions, and they accompany travelers throughout their journey to contribute to a pleasant experience.
