Ruta del Queso

The Cheese Route offers an agrotourism experience in the heart of the municipality of Ocosingo, Chiapas, where visitors can tour farms and ranches dedicated to the artisanal production of one of the region's most emblematic products: bola cheese and the renowned Chiapas cheese.

During this journey, travelers will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about the traditional process of making bola cheese, made from 100% cow's milk using techniques passed down from generation to generation. The experience allows visitors to appreciate the work of farmers, the quality of local products, and the cultural richness of the communities that have made this food a regional symbol.
