Villa Luz Waterfalls

The Villa Luz Waterfalls (Cascadas de Villa Luz) are a true hidden paradise nestled within the lush jungle of the Magical Town of Tapijulapa. This ecotourism and scientific research destination is famous for its cascading waters infused with sulfur properties and unique turquoise hues, forming natural pools perfect for cooling off in the tropical heat. Reaching them is an adventure in itself, including a scenic boat ride along the Oxolotán River and a hike surrounded by dense rainforest vegetation. Furthermore, the site houses the historic House-Museum of former governor Tomás Garrido and the famous Villa Luz Cave, a unique ecosystem on the planet.
