The municipality of Rincón de Romos was formerly called Chora, but in 1658, Captain Diego Romo de Vivar purchased the estate of the original Hacienda de Rincón from Don Pedro Rincón de Arteaga, resulting in the conjugation of both surnames and changing the name to \\\\\\\"Rincón de Romos.\\\\\\\" Among the most representative places in Pabellón de Hidalgo are the Hacienda de San Blas and Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla\\\\\\\'s route to the north of the country.

Pabellón de Hidalgo was named a Magical Town of Aguascalientes on June 26, 2023.

Pabellón de Hidalgo boasts all kinds of attractions, including the natural attractions: the San Blas Dam, Camp Yuca, and Cerro de la Santa Cruz. Cultural attractions include the Hacienda de San Blas, the Insurgency Museum, the Parish of Our Lord of San Blas, the Hacienda de Letras, and the Chacón and Frague Wineries.

The local cuisine is characterized by the following dishes: suckling pig, birria, pastes, tlacoyos, mixiote, chinicuiles, escamoles, gualumbos, and traditional sweets such as jamoncillo, sweet potato, pumpkin, and biznaga.

Its most famous festivals are the Pabellón de Hidalgo Fair and the San Blas Patron Saint Festival.
