The word Michin means “fish” in Nahuatl, and it gives identity to a project that honors not only marine and land animals, but also the Indigenous cultures that have shaped the country. Each pavilion is inspired by an ancestral civilization: Maya, Wixárika, Mixtec, Olmec, Zapotec, and Konkaak.
