Amid aromas and flavors, enjoy the coffee-growing spirit of the High Mountains
The tour begins in the picturesque town of Fortín with a delicious breakfast at the charming Posada Loma hotel, where you can savor organic products and enjoy a stroll through its beautiful botanical garden.
Afterward, the experience continues at the 7 Lunas Organic Farm, where you’ll learn about the entire coffee-making process, from planting to the final brew. A talk will introduce you to the fascinating history of this bean, and later, in the smokehouse kitchen, a traditional cook will delight you with typical regional dishes. You’ll be able to watch—and even participate in—the artisanal preparation of the food.
The day culminates with a hike through the Metlac Canyon, a natural area that’s part of the farm itself and offers spectacular scenery.
The day begins with a visit to the historic Ex Hacienda de Guadalupe, the birthplace of the first coffee plant grown in Mexico. At this charming site, you’ll discover the history of the aromatic bean and its production process, culminating in a fun coffee tasting. You’ll also be able to admire the architectural remains of its
old swimming pool and chapel, which bear witness to the splendor of a bygone era. Later, you’ll explore the Historic Center of the “Pueblo Mágico” (Magical Town) of Córdoba, where you can choose from a variety of restaurants to enjoy a delicious meal overlooking the Zócalo. The day concludes with a visit to a craft brewery, where you’ll learn the secrets of beer-making through a sensory experience featuring unique tastings and aromas.
The day begins in the “Pueblo Mágico” (Magical Town) of Córdoba, where you’ll explore its charming Historic Center, discover the city’s history and its close connection to the “golden bean,” while admiring some of its most iconic buildings. Next, you’ll visit Finca Kitos, where you’ll get an up-close look at the coffee roasting process guided by a professional roaster, learning the secrets that bring its unmistakable aroma and flavor to life. Later, you’ll board the Café Bus bound for the “Café de mi Rancho” coffee farm, nestled in the rural countryside of Córdoba. There, you’ll explore the coffee forest, learn about the coffee processing, and—if you’d like—take part in a hands-on experience of threshing and grinding. The tour culminates with a traditional meal prepared by the community of Sábana Larga—a perfect ending to a day filled with aromas, flavors, and Veracruz hospitality.

To round out the day, you’ll visit Finca Kassandra, where you’ll learn about the production process of the coffee that many consider the best in Mexico—an unmissable experience for coffee lovers.
