Mexico City - Pachuca - Guadalajara - Acapulco (18 Days / 17 Nights)

Day 1: Arrival in Mexico City

Arrival in Mexico City, reception at Mexico City International Airport “Benito Juárez” and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Xochimilco and Coyoacán

Breakfast.

At the appointed time, we will begin the tour in the heart of Coyoacán, a charming neighborhood with a peaceful atmosphere and quiet streets. We will then continue to the ancient canals of Xochimilco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we will board a traditional trajinera (boat) decorated with vibrant colors. We will admire the chinampas (floating gardens with flowers and vegetables) and experience a typical Mexican tradition.

We will pass by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) to admire the murals by Juan O'Gorman, the Mexico 68 Olympic Stadium, the National Library, and the Rector's Office building.

We will continue our tour through the Historic Center of the "City of Palaces," as it was once known for its beautiful colonial buildings, such as the Palace of Fine Arts, the Postal Palace, and the House of Tiles.

Return to the hotel.

Day 3: Football in Mexico City

Today we will witness an unforgettable spectacle: an international soccer match. For the first time in history, three countries—the United States, Canada, and Mexico—joined forces to host the biggest sporting event on the planet.

The Estadio Ciudad de México, an iconic temple of soccer, was chosen as the venue to officially open the tournament (admission not included).

Day 4: Basilica - Pyramids of Teotihuacan

Pick-up in the lobby at 9:00 AM for a tour of incredible sites in Mexico City. We will begin our tour by visiting the Plaza de las Tres Culturas (Plaza of the Three Cultures), where past and present intertwine, as well as the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patron Saint of Mexico and the Americas.

After the Basilica of Guadalupe, we will continue to the impressive archaeological site of Teotihuacan, where we will visit the monumental Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, the Temple of Quetzalpapalotl, the Citadel, and the Avenue of the Dead.

We will also visit a local artisan center. On this tour, we will experience both sides of Mexico City: the colonial and the indigenous.

Day 5: Mexico City - Tolantongo Caves - Pachuca

Departure at 7:00 am for our transfer to our thermal paradise. Located in a canyon at the foot of an incredible waterfall are the Tolantongo Caves, where you'll experience the adventure of entering its tunnels, where water emerges from within, creating the sensation of a delightful steam bath.

If you'd like to swim a bit more, you can do so in the Tolantongo River, with its turquoise water, which also feeds the pools with slides and stepped pools.

Transfer to your hotel in Pachuca.

Day 6: Pachuca - Huasca de Ocampo - Mexico City

Departure from the hotel for a trip to Huasca de Ocampo, the first Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) in the country, to visit the Basaltic Prisms. These are renowned for their impressive basalt rocks, the result of the slow cooling of lava flows some 2.5 million years ago. We will also visit the Hacienda Santa María Regla, designated as unique by King Charles III of Spain. It has been the setting for numerous novels and films, including The Mask of Zorro with Antonio Banderas; it now operates as a beautiful hotel.

The next stop is the Casa del Rompope Artesanal (House of Artisanal Rompope), run by the Lugo family, originally from Huasca de Ocampo. Here, you will enjoy a delicious tasting of more than 15 flavors of rompope (a traditional Mexican eggnog-like drink), as well as a variety of sauces, jams, and cajetas (a type of caramel) that they make by hand.

The next stop will be the Magical Town of Real del Monte, where we will visit the Acosta Mine Museum. This museum has become an important institution where you can learn about the history of the mine and key aspects of mining operations. The site features architectural remains and structures, and you can venture inside the mine to see a silver vein after a historical tour about the miners' work.

We will also visit the English Cemetery. Finally, you will have free time to stroll through the town center, browse shops, and sample traditional pasties.

Transfer to Mexico City.

DAY 8

Breakfast at the hotel.

We begin our day with a tour of Guadalajara's Historic Center. Our walking tour starts in front of the Government Palace. During our walk, we'll have the opportunity to see the famous murals by José Clemente Orozco in the Government Palace, the Plaza de Armas, and the Rotunda of Illustrious Men and Women of Jalisco, whose tombs are located there. You'll be able to see their sculptures around the circular area.

We'll visit the Metropolitan Cathedral and the catacomb chapels. We'll continue our tour to Plaza de la Liberación, passing by the neoclassical Degollado Theater and Plaza Fundadores. We'll also visit the Expiatory Temple of the Blessed Sacrament, a beautiful neoclassical building that took 75 years to construct.

We travel to San Pedro Tlaquepaque, a town adjacent to Guadalajara, famous for its handicrafts. We'll stroll along the main avenue, where you'll find art galleries showcasing the work of various artisans, including the gallery of Sergio Bustamante, a world-renowned artist known for his beautiful and eccentric sculptures.

Free time for lunch.

Return to the hotel; the rest of the afternoon is free.

DAY 9

Breakfast at the hotel.

Meet in the lobby at 7:00 a.m. We will transfer to the starting point, Casa Cuervo, located on Periférico Sur. Here we will board the bus that will take us to the agave landscape. We will visit the Los Buenos Aires fields for a demonstration of jima, the traditional method of harvesting agave, the essential raw material for making tequila. We will continue to La Rojeña, the oldest distillery in Latin America, in the town of Tequila.

We will learn about the tequila-making process, with tastings straight from the still at 55% alcohol by volume. Enjoy a few hours of free time in the town of Tequila to explore the local cuisine. At 4:00 p.m., we'll gather at the José Cuervo Forum to close out the day with mariachi music and a premium tequila toast.

Finally, we'll board the José Cuervo Express back to Guadalajara.

Our staff will be waiting to take you back to your hotel, bringing an unforgettable day in the world of tequila to a close.

DAY 10

The Guadalajara Stadium was dressed to the nines to host one of the most electrifying football matches of 2026. With a capacity of over 48,000 fans from around the world, the atmosphere was a vibrant mix of cultures, chants, and football passion.

From early morning, the area surrounding the stadium was a mosaic of jerseys, flags, and painted faces. The clear, bright Guadalajara sky welcomed an unforgettable day. Cameras from around the world focused on the stadium, an architectural gem that has become a symbol of Mexican football. Accommodation (entrance not included).

DAY 11

Transfer to Guadalajara International Airport for your flight to Mexico City (ticket not included). Upon arrival, you will be met by our team and transferred to your hotel. In the evening, transfer to the Miralto restaurant for dinner. The Miralto restaurant is located in one of Mexico City's most iconic landmarks: the Torre Latinoamericana, in the heart of the Historic Center. This restaurant stands out not only for its cuisine but also for its breathtaking 360° panoramic views from over 180 meters high, as it is located on the 41st floor of the building.

After dinner, return to the hotel.

DAY 12

At the designated time, we will begin our tour of the Historic Center of the "City of Palaces," as this city was once known for its beautiful colonial architecture. We will visit: the Plaza de la Constitución (Zócalo), the National Palace (panoramic view), the magnificent Metropolitan Cathedral, a panoramic view of the ruins of the Aztec Templo Mayor (from the pre-Hispanic era), and we will tour the main monuments such as the Monument to the Revolution and the Angel of Independence.

We will continue our tour through Chapultepec Forest, visiting the Ahuehuete trees planted by the poet-king Nezahualcóyotl, the monument to Squadron 201 of World War II, the Baths of the Aztec Tlatoanis, the monument to the Niños Héroes (Boy Heroes), and finally, Chapultepec Castle.

Return to the hotel.

DAY 13

At the appointed time, we will depart for Cuernavaca, the "City of Eternal Spring." There, we will visit the Historic Center with its beautiful Cathedral, the oldest in Mexico.

We will continue to the Magical Town of Taxco, a small colonial city located at the foot of the Sierra Madre del Sur mountain range. Its unique architectural style is characterized by cobblestone streets, white stucco houses, and red tile roofs. The wrought-iron balconies at the windows are typically overflowing with beautiful hanging flowers.

Taxco is also known as the silver-producing capital of Mexico, so you will find a wide variety of silver items to purchase. We will visit the Santa Prisca Cathedral and enjoy the atmosphere of a typical Mexican town.

Continue to Acapulco, where you will be dropped off at your hotel for overnight accommodation.

DAY 14

At the scheduled time, departure from the hotel to travel to Coyuca for a boat tour on the Coyuca River and Lagoon, where we can admire herons, pelicans, cormorants, and roseate spoonbills in their natural habitat.

It is an excellent place for birdwatching. Later, we will enjoy a delicious lunch featuring a typical regional dish.

Afterward, we will continue to Mexico City, arriving at the hotel.

DAY 16

The Estadio CDMX will be one of the most iconic venues of the tournament, which will be jointly hosted by Mexico, the United States, and Canada.

This stadium is not only one of the most renowned in the world, but also the only one in history to have hosted two World Cup finals (1970 and 1986), making it an icon of international football (admission not included).

DAY 17

Enjoy a morning exploring one of Mexico City's largest shopping malls, Buenavista, where you can discover stores of well-known brands and a wide variety of shops selling everything from clothing and shoes to books, cell phones, and food. Find a shopper's paradise and shop for great deals in Mexico City until you're tired or it's time to return to your hotel.

In the evening, we'll head out for a traditional Mexican dinner. We'll sample delicious tacos, guided by our expert on Mexican street food through the streets of Mexico City to three authentic taquerias. There, we'll taste seven different tacos, including arrachera, suadero, and campechano, among others. To finish, we'll try what's considered the best taco of all: the taco al pastor. A truly flavorful tour!
