Soumaya Museum

The building itself is an architectural landmark designed by architect Fernando Romero. Its striking structure features six levels covered with 16,000 aluminum hexagons, giving the museum its distinctive appearance. In addition to its permanent exhibitions, the museum regularly hosts temporary exhibits, cultural events, and educational activities for visitors of all ages.

Admission to the Soumaya Museum is free, and it is open to the public from Monday to Sunday, from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Besides its main location at Plaza Carso, the museum also operates a house museum in the Roma neighborhood dedicated to the collection of Guillermo Tovar de Teresa, offering visitors an additional perspective on art and culture in Mexico City.

Visiting the Soumaya Museum is an opportunity to explore one of the most comprehensive art collections in Latin America within an innovative and accessible architectural setting.
