Parque Regional Griselda Álvarez

For decades, this park has been the meeting point for families, friends and tourists.

Parque Regional

Located in the northern part of Colima City, the Griselda Álvarez Regional Park is one of the largest and most visited natural spaces in the state capital. With over 14 hectares of trees and open areas, it’s the perfect place to enjoy nature, spend time with family, or simply unwind outdoors.

One of its main attractions is the artificial lake, surrounded by trails, viewpoints, and lush vegetation—ideal for walking, jogging, or cycling. The park also offers picnic spots, children’s play areas, and peaceful corners to relax year-round.

Adventure seekers can enjoy the zipline, which adds a fun and active element to the visit. There are also hanging bridges and other outdoor recreational features designed for all ages.

The park includes an open-air amphitheater where cultural events, workshops, and community activities are regularly held. Its thoughtful layout blends natural beauty with urban accessibility.

Griselda Álvarez Regional Park is a green lung in the city and a meeting place for leisure, activity, and connection with nature—right in the heart of Colima.
